Genuine MS® Farmers Market Opens in Brandon

The Genuine MS® Farmers Market at the Rankin County Co-op in Brandon is set to officially open Saturday, May 16, bringing locally grown and raised Mississippi products directly to consumers.

Located at 2861 US-80 in Brandon, the seasonal market will operate every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through October 2026. Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson will kick off opening day with an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m.

Shoppers can expect to find a variety of Genuine Mississippi products including fresh produce, meat products, honey, plants, specialty foods and more — all grown, raised and processed right here in Mississippi. The market will also feature a pop-up location of the Genuine MS® Retail Store.

Opening day vendors include Two Dog Farm, Pennington Farm Honey, Paul’s Plants, New Ground Nursery, Red River Trading Co., Amason Farms, Cooper Farms and Vineyard LLC, DNA BBQ, Great Southern Blueberries, Nature’s Crest LLC, Beason Family Farm and Buckin’ RR’s Farms LLC.
