United Plastic Molders is the parent company for: The Fish Grip, Diversified Products, Safer Automatic Wheelchair Lock, and Class Sail. United Plastic Molders, Inc. was established in 1978. It remains one of the oldest molding companies in Mississippi. It began with just 6 employees and 4 machines ranging in sizes from 75 tons to 250 tons. As a growing company, United Plastic Molders, Inc. has since expanded to include 6 buildings with 60,000 square feet in total. At present there are 60 employees. They operate on a 5 day a week schedule, running 24 hours a day. To date, we have expanded our equipment to include: 24 Molding machines ranging in size from 30 tons to 750 tons; A Design Center with Solid Works and Rapid Prototyping; Complete Tool & Die shop; Clean Room (designed to assemble mold sample cassettes); and Several Assembly areas.
