I have been a member of the Mississippi Gem & Mineral Society since 2004 - have cut almost all of the Mississippi Precious Opal (our State Gemstone) for MDEQ - have demonstrated Cabochon cutting at our yearly Gem, Mineral, Rock and Jewelry Show (Last weekend in February) since 2004 and have begun crafting Gem Trees, Walking/Hiking Staffs and Cabochons to supplement my Social Security since January 2023. Although the stones for my trees may originate from many sources, I craft them here in Mississippi and a majority of the stones come from Bayou Pierre in South Mississippi.

What Makes Our Products Great?

What makes my products great is the simple fact that there are very few craftspeople in the area doing them. Everything I make is handcrafted by me.

What makes us most proud of producing Genuine MS products?

Many people like to watch me create my trees....from twisting the wire, to setting the stone bases, to applying the semi-precious stones (leaves) to the trees, especially.

How does buying Genuine MS products make a difference here in Mississippi?

The more local artisans/craftspeople who show their work only enforces the simple fact that Mississippi has a plethora of talent.....in most cases, unknown.
