Red Bird Farms was established in October of 2018. Selling our first Christmas trees in December 2022, we are on a 30-acre plot, a choose and cut Christmas Tree farm with two varieties of Leyland cypress trees and other fragrant varieties. Hosting seasonal events and activities for the kids throughout the year, such as, "Pancakes with Santa" in early December, an "Easter Eggstravaganza" the weekend before Easter, "Fairytale at the Farm" featuring enchanted princesses, the weekend before spring break, and a Fall Farm FEST and Pumpkin Patch the month of October. Red Bird Farms also has a 2400 sq. ft. venue with prep kitchen, bridal suite and grooms' room and indoor restrooms available for guests. Red Bird Farms is focusing on Mississippi Agritourism and Growing Christmas trees. We strive to grow a great product for our community and neighbors all around. Attending workshops and yearly Christmas tree conferences is not only a way to learn more to about our trees but to network and visit with friends and families that are ALL doing the same thing we are. We have watched each other, and our farms grow and strive to have the perfect tree for your family. What makes us most proud of producing Genuine MS products?

Several years ago, we visited a local grower's spring workshop about how to grow Christmas trees. We enjoyed the day and thought this would be something we would like to do. At the time, my husband and I didn't even have the land to plant the trees on, so the search for the perfect plot of land and location was on. Once the land was found and secured, we planted our first Christmas trees. We didn't even own a tractor to plow the land or dig the holes. Our neighbors and friends in the community offered to help and loaned us tractors and equipment to get us started. We couldn't have started or sustained what we have today without our Local farmers and the community. Everyone has offered so much help, knowledge and advice and that's why I'm PROUD to be a farmer in Mississippi.
