Our Four Acre Farm

Our Four Acre Farm is a family-run homestead in Carthage, Mississippi rooted in intentional living, a slower pace, and a return to what matters most. After becoming parents, we stepped away from the constant rush to build a life centered around our children, our land, and the values we want to pass down. We raise, grow, and create as much as we can ourselves—using what’s available on our property and partnering with local farmers and makers when needed. From handmade skincare and herbal remedies to pantry staples, everything is made in small batches using simple, non-toxic ingredients, including beeswax, honey, and propolis from our own hives. It is a time-consuming, but worthy endeavor that we are intentional about. We are committed to supporting our local community and strengthening local sources of food and handmade goods. It’s a way of life rooted in tradition, connection, and raising the next generation with intention.

What Makes Our Products Great?

Most of our products begin with the bees. We use beeswax, honey, and propolis from our own hives—or source locally when needed—as the foundation for many of the items we create. From there, we keep things as close to the land and kitchen as possible. Herbs are wildcrafted from our property or grown by us, then slowly infused into oils over time. Every product is made by hand, in small batches, and from scratch. We don’t create products just to sell them. We make them for our own family first. We test, use, and refine everything ourselves and our children. If it’s not something we trust in our own home, it doesn’t go out to anyone else. When we do need to bring in ingredients, we choose organic, high-quality sources, usually from other homesteaders and small family farms or businesses.
