Lee is a railroad engineer by trade. He started out raising feeder cows but started educating himself about the genetics of the calf. His goal was to produce better feeder cows, through the AI process, and realized how much he loved watching the progress of breeding momma cows. He raises registered black angus. He and his wife, Amy, are the perfect storm. Amy has been in the retail business for years. They have a business in Morton, LPF Market, that serves their processed beef in the restaurant, to the locals in the community. Their beef is a conception to consumption concept.

Because Lion Praire Farms is a conception to consumption concept, they cows are healthy, free range animals that never go to the feed lot. Having a market where the beef is sold and cooked in the restaurant allows us to look our customers in the face and see their satisfaction is something they pride themselves on.
