Iron Skillet Brittle

Several years ago I was looking for something to keep me from being bored during retirement. I had been purchasing peanut brittle at a mom and pop operation. My buddies and I agreed this tasted like our grandmother's made for us. A few weeks later, I saw the man putting out the orders and followed him to his next stop. I approached him and he offered to teach me the recipe. I learned the trade and have not been bored since. The rest is history.
