After World War II, in 1947, the Mabry Family founded Mabry Lumber Company in Liberty, MS. Liberty, MS is in the heart of the best pine timberlands in the world. The area is well-known for its old-growth, high-grade and dense-grain pine trees. The pine trees are so tall, you will need a rifle instead of a shotgun for squirrel hunting! Through the years, the mill ownership has changed, but there is one constant, the high-grade Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) timbers and lumber that the mill procures and produces is the same today as it was in 1947. Greentree Lumber Company, “Greentree”, recently acquired the mill and is now carrying on the Mabry Family tradition of producing the best SYP timbers and lumber at the best prices for both the domestic and export forest product markets.

Greentree stands alone in its vertically integrated business model that includes a land and timber company, logging, and trucking companies. Meaning, Greentree buys its own standing pine timber, harvests the timber, and then transports the timber to its own sawmill in Liberty, MS. The mill then saws the logs on its 7-foot band saw and then ships the timbers, decking, boards and lumber throughout North America, Caribbean, Europe, and the Far East forest products markets.
