I have been in the Honeybee industry for thirty years. When I was 14 years old, I attended the Mississippi State Fair. The Central Mississippi Beekeepers Association was looking for younger generations that might be interested in the industry. Their promise to me was this; if I attended the once-a-month meeting at the Natural Science Museum, they would provide me with a beehive, smoker and a bee suit. That is where I met J.N. Russell of J. N. Apiary. Mr. Russell had hundreds of hives. I would go to Raymond for the weekend and spend those two days soaking in the knowledge from this seasoned beekeeper. That is where I fell in-love with the honeybee industry.

I fell in-love with the honeybee industry by just being in the right place at the right time. I had unforseen opportunities to learn from dynamic mentors and I learned a skill that has sustained through the years. Now I have children that are learning the business. They have to work the business to afford luxuries in todays world. So we not only provide a fabulous product that tastes great, I am able to instill the values and work ethic to my children as well.

I am a native Mississippian and I believe in Mississippi. I stand with ALL of our MS products above and beyond anyone else's.
