From as far back as I can remember, I was always surrounded by men in my life that were true tradesmen of all kinds. Learning to work with my hands started very early on. However, I found that I never had the desire to pursue any one trade but that I knew for certain I loved to create things. We made the decision to build a shop at home to allow me to do what I love and more importantly, stop putting my life on hold This has allowed me to be with the people who mean everything to me. I strive to make unique one-of-a-kind pieces utilizing a vast array of local Mississippi wood species, reclaimed materials, exotic woods, and finishing techniques.

I’m amazed and inspired by the work of so many extremely talented artisans in Mississippi. I love the fact that our state produces some of the best produce and meats in the country, along with some of the best chefs/cooks. I’m extremely proud to be from Mississippi. Our state moves at a different pace than the rest of the nation.... I mean that in the best of ways, as creativity is plentiful in a place where you’re more connected to nature. Where you can see the stars in the night sky and stare in wonder and amazement at the vastness of the universe. As a maker from this great state my goal is to thrive doing what I love and add to the list of awesome products that are Genuine Mississippi.
