A Complete Flag Source is a small business owned by Jim and Brenda McIntyre. They currently employ Sarah Mason, sales, and Henry Ortiz, installation and repair. Their sons, Andrew and Nolan, lend a hand in their time off from college. A Complete Flag source began in 1996 when Jim took an index card box of customers his brother “took care of” and a closet full of flags and began marketing a new business from his pickup truck. Using his natural sales talents, he called on the customers and anyone who had a flagpole between home and his destination. He learned how to “farm” an area in real estate, so he did the same for a flag business. He would pick a town in Mississippi and get to know the people who already were buying flags from someone. Personal customer service began here. As he sold flags, he learned the flagpole installation business from the ground up. In 2000, his wife Brenda, retired from her long time job at Blair Batson Children’s Hospital Children’s Cancer Clinic Laboratory, and began handling the bookkeeping for the business.
