This May, during National Beef Month, we’re shining a spotlight on Genuine MS® beef producers—families and farms dedicated to raising quality beef while stewarding the land and supporting local communities. From the rolling hills of Central Mississippi to the Gulf Coast and beyond, these farmers offer everything from Angus to Wagyu and beyond. Here’s a closer look at some of our member farms:
3R Cattle Company – Gulfport
What started as a family project to raise clean, natural food turned into a community-driven farm-to-fork experience. 3R Cattle Company now raises grass-fed and grain-fed cattle across 1,500 acres, delivering quality beef to South Mississippi.
4P Beef – Lexington
Run by brothers Nathan and Graham Pierce, 4P Beef is the retail arm of their second-generation ranch. They offer grass-fed, grain-finished Angus-cross beef, dry-aged for 14–21 days, and processed without preservatives or additives.
Amason Farms – Eskridge
Just north of Mississippi’s crossroads, Amason Farms raises Angus and Charolais commercial cattle without added hormones or steroids. Their goal: to provide customers with beef they can trust to feed their families.
B and L Farms – Heidelberg
A registered Angus operation, B and L Farms focuses on seedstock bulls that deliver profit and performance. Their commitment to genetics, health, and nutrition makes their cattle exceptional from pasture to plate.
Becci’s Barn Yard (C-Curb Farm) – Brooksville
This fourth-generation farm offers grass-fed, grain-finished beef that’s antibiotic-free and all-natural. Nestled in Mississippi’s Black Prairie region, they prioritize humane handling and superior nutrition.
Black Creek Farm – Picayune
Natural, drug-free, and always fresh, Black Creek raises grass-finished beef processed without MSG, added salt, or chemicals. Their philosophy: smaller quantities, higher quality.
Black Jack Ranch – Stone County
Home to Wagyu, Angus, and F1 cattle, Black Jack Ranch combines a premium beef program with a full farm-to-market storefront. From beef to baked goods, they offer something for every table.
Breezy Oaks Ranch – Vaiden
Specializing in Akaushi (Red Wagyu) and heritage pork, Breezy Oaks uses regenerative agriculture and dry ages their beef for 21 days. Their meat is pasture-raised without antibiotics or hormones.
Broadhead Cattle – Mendenhall
A century-old family farm with a rich lumber and poultry history, Broadhead Cattle now maintains over 100 purebred Brahman and 350 commercial cattle, bred for quality and sustainability.
Dixie Farms – Waynesboro
This small farm keeps the Texas Longhorn tradition alive in Mississippi. The family takes pride in preserving the legacy of the small, local farm.
Etta Hills Farm – Etta
Etta Hills is rooted in regenerative farming. With a mission to restore ecosystems and soil health, their 100% grass-finished beef is nutrient-dense and raised in harmony with nature.
George “Sonny” Magee – Oak Vale
This fourth-generation Angus cattle farmer now sells quarters, halves, and whole beef directly to customers. His animals are raised on grass and finished on grain with care and transparency.
Golden S Farms – Oloh
Family-run since the 1970s, Golden S Farms raises Brangus cattle for beef, breeding, and show. Their custom beef division offers hormone-free, grain-finished options with personalized cuts.
Hickory Heal Farm – Maben
This homestead is all about pasture-raised diversity, including grass-finished beef, pastured poultry, pigs, and even a botanical sanctuary. Their commitment to regenerative farming shines through in every product.
High Hope Farm – Cedar Bluff
Focused on soil health and rotational grazing, High Hope produces grass-fed beef and lamb with no chemical inputs. Their beef is nutrient-rich and deeply flavorful.
Honestly Beef – Magee
Honestly Beef delivers some of the best farm-fresh beef in the South—honest, simple, and raised with care. Their cattle are grass-fed, grain-finished, and spend their entire lives free-ranging on open pastures. The animals are never given antibiotics or growth hormones, allowing them to mature naturally over about 24 months. Once harvested, the beef is dry-aged for 7 to 14 days to enhance flavor and tenderness.
Line Prairie Farms – Morton
Run by a husband-and-wife team, LPF Market delivers registered Angus beef through a full conception-to-consumption model—raised, harvested, and served locally.

Shaded Grove Farm Market – Macon
From UPS delivery to an on-farm store, Shaded Grove offers convenience without compromise. They specialize in grass-fed beef, lamb, pork, and eggs—raised the natural way.
Southern Cross Farm – Euphora
Their beef program blends sustainability and quality. Raised with no antibiotics or hormones, their cattle roam freely and drink solar-pumped stream water—supporting both wildlife and flavor.
Sweet Meat Farms – Magnolia & Gillsburg
Home of American Wagyu beef, Sweet Meat Farms raises F1 Wagyu-Angus cattle finished on grain/hay. Their Magnolia meat market delivers high-end beef, and a hometown feel.
Walking W Cattle Company – Columbus
Joshua Guerry’s 5th generation farm produces grass-fed, grain-finished beef with heart. Raised on pasture and hand-fed grain before harvest, their beef is delicious and responsibly produced.
Weesner Meadow – Holy Springs
Raising dry-aged, grass-fed beef and natural pork, Weesner Meadow puts animal welfare and sustainability first. Nestled near the Coldwater River, they share land with Audubon conservation areas.
WS Cattle Co. – Flora
Since 1994, WS Cattle Co. has bred Angus and Hereford cattle for both beef and breeding. Their beef is born, raised, and finished on their farm, ensuring traceability and quality from pasture to plate.
