Port of Gulfport
The Mississippi State Port Authority at Gulfport is a deep-water international seaport with a depth of 36 ft. We receive approximately 200,000 TEUs per year, with over 5,000 ft. of berth space, 110 acres of open storage, 400,000 square feet of warehouse space, roll-on/off ramps, and 3 ship-to-shore gantry cranes.
Strategically located on the northern Gulf of Mexico, just 18 miles from open Gulf waters, the Port of Gulfport is readily available to service any type of cargo. The Port is just 5 miles south of US Interstate 10, with immediate access to Class 1 rail service. We partner with local and state entities to prioritize the growth of our coastal Blue Economy, seeking to attract high-tech businesses focused on ocean-related technology.
