Jim and Gail Anderson are both retired owners of Crossgates Veterinary Clinic. They met each other in high school, started dating and got married as sophmores in college at MSU. Jim grew up working for his dad who was an architectural engineer. This is where Jim gained the mechanical knowledge to be able to create just about anything when he set his mind to it. But Jim's passion has always been taking care of animals. After undergraduate school, Gail and Jim applied to veterinary school and were the first married couple accepted as out-of-state students into Auburn's College of Veterinary Medicine. As a retired veterinary, Jim farms. When Jim's farm needs something, he builds it. After retirement as a veterinarian, Jim spends his time on his cattle farm building calf catchers and other farm equipment.
