We got our start in 2005, selling handmade jams and jellies at local farmers’ markets, fairs and festivals. We have a passion for creating gourmet recipes that are super easy to make. Our plan was to have a small internet business and Alice was going to have babies and be able to stay home. Our huge popularity expanded us into the wholesale business and soon led to more than 300 shops nationwide. With the same high-quality ingredients and high attention to detail we use in our mixes, that are included in our soups, cheeseballs, dips, and brownie mixes, we have seen great sucess. We added our grilling glazes, and pepper jellies soon after that. We believe that food should be exciting. From our classic award winning Shrimp Bisque, to the most sold item being the Cajun Shrimp and Grits, we have something for everyone. In 2010 we opened a restaurant (Market Cafe) in an old hardware store in downtown Louisville, where we do lots of research and development for the Ala Carte Alice business. Every year we are working on new recipes for our lines. In 2017, we launched Red Dog Rubs with the same great look and taste you find in all of our Ala Carte Alice items. These rubs are great and have a place in everyone’s pantry. Hope you enjoy our items and much as we enjoy developing them for you.
